Pros: Very easy to install , and felt very surdy.
Cons: Expensive and heavy.

"I am a bit useless when it comes to putting things together like this, in fact it is my idea of hell. I fitted it in about 5 mins. Then I took it apart because it all went together so easy I though I had fitted it wrongly! I did it again a second time and it just as quick, re-read the instructions and relised I had it correct the first time, (as well as the second), it was as simple as it seems.
Bikes on it were secure, and now my wife , 3 kids and me can get out and do some proper cycling."

Pros: Easy to fit, solid build and neat looking. I like the fact you can buy spares and add parts.
Cons: A little bit awkward but once you have used it several times it becomes much easier.

"I have had this bike rack for about one and a half years and I can tell you don't waste your time or money on any other bike rack. This bike rack does everything it should do. I have a discovery and carry four bikes. I have also towed a caravan with the bikes on the back. No problem."

"Fantastic product, very clever design, you can still tow and have all your bikes on the rack and not worry about your expensive bikes falling off. "Thank You for your advice and direction. It's appreciated. GT Towing were excellent. They fitted a towbar and supplied the MaxxRaxx (5 bikes). They were cheerful and gave me a demo etc. They did a top job, great service and at £480 I thought it was very good value for the quality of both the towbar and the MaxxRaxx fixtures. This included a number plate, board and straps etc.
I've used the MaxxRaxx now on both weekends since the fitting and am delighted with it."

"I'd certainly recommend Maxxraxx (and indeed have) to anyone looking for a tow bar mounted bike rack. I've been using mine regularly for 6 years now on 4 different cars and have been really impressed. Its simplicity of use is marvellous and is far less hassle than other tow bar racks I've used and leaves boot mounted ones in its dust. The ability to use both the tow bar & the boot (we have 2 dogs as well) at the same time as the rack while on holiday is a real benefit as well. The ability to fold it down afterwards just makes it all the more remarkable.
I carry up to 4 mountain bikes at any one time and always feel that they are secure on the rack. I dread to think how many thousands of miles I've done with this rack but the bikes always arrive safe & secure.
The customer service & back-up is second to none and on the very odd occasion where I have had a question or problem response has always been very quick and satisfactory.

"I am just emailing you to let you know that our bike rack arrived at 12.25 today after ordering it yesterday morning. My husband fitted the plate to the tow ball this evening and we assembled the rack and tried the bikes on it. We are so impressed with the rack both in terms of its quality and design and how easy it is to assemble and mount the bikes.
